1. What brought you to CFS?
A college friend, who apparently knew me very well. He had just started CrossFit at another gym in Connecticut and urged me to follow suit. I blindly followed.

2. What 1 thing would you like members to know.
I may often look very serious, but I’m actually really goofy once you get to know me.

3. What PR are you most proud of? What is your next PR goal?
7 years of consecutive CrossFit. Consistency is key. I’ve always really enjoyed running. My next PR goal would be to run a sub 5 minute mile and deadlift over 500 lbs within the same week.

4. If you could have anyone coach you through a WOD, who would it be?
I think Denzel Washington would be an awesome motivational speaker. I just need a good pre-WOD speech and some rock music. I don’t necessarily need someone by my side for an entire workout since I typically black-out within the first couple of minutes anyway.

5. What were you like in high school?
Very different. I’m still a huge nerd at heart. I’ve watched the original Starwars Trilogy more times than I can count and still have all my vintage video games systems stored in my apartment. I’ve attached a high school picture for your enjoyment.

6. What movie as a kid scarred you the most?
Hands down Jurassic park. Specifically, the scene were the raptor burst through the pipes as power was restored to the park. I’ll still check my closet twice every night before bed to make sure there are no raptors hiding behind my clothes.

7. What is your biggest first world problem?
Definitely when you don’t put the lid on your Starbucks hot coffee tight enough and you go to take the first sip and it spills everywhere.

8. What is your favorite meal, in detail?
Thanksgiving. Its not that the food is the best, but a whole day dedicated to stuffing your facing and drinking with family never disappoints. Not to mention it is always acceptable to take an afternoon nap.

9. If you had $1 million, what would you spend it on? Give details!
Trick question, I would have to invest it. My runner up would be to take a year off and travel the world. I have an ever growing list of mountains to snowboard and beaches to surf.

10. What are you most grateful for?
My family and friends, which includes those of you reading this. Special shout-outs to Erica, my fiancé, my furbaby Riley and sister Brittany (photographs attached). Honestly, though I think we should all just be really grateful we live currently live in a place that offers us so much opportunity and that provides us safety and much more than the essentials we need to survive.
